125th Anniversary Celebrations of King Edward VII School Updates

Dear Fellow Tigers,

125^th Anniversary Celebrations of King Edward VII School

The 125^th Anniversary Celebrations of King Edward VII School, Taiping kicked off with soft launch by YABhg Dr Ling Leong Sik on 12^th May 2008 in King Edward VII school Hall. With this launch, the Organizing Committee of the Anniversary celebrations have planned a series of events and programs culminating in an Anniversary dinner on Saturday 11^th October 2008 in Dewan Majlis Perbadaran, Taiping which will be graced by the presences of their royal Highnesses of Perak Darul Ridzuan as follows :

1. DYMM the Sultan of Perak, Sultan Azan Shah and DYMM the Raja Permaisuri Perak, Tuanku Bainun;

2. DYTM Raja Muda of Perak, Raja Nazrin Shah and DYTM Raja Puan Besar Perak, Tuanku Zara Salim.

With the presences of the Royalties and other dignitaries, the 125^th Anniversary dinner will be a grand and auspicious occasion not only for the school, the students, the Old Edwardians but also the Taipingnites to remember “Magni Nominis Umbra” for generations to come.

All Old Edwardians are invited to participate in the Program above, especially the Edwardians' Parade on 31.07/2008 and the 125^th Anniversary Dinner on 11.10.2008.
